Mark your calendars! Our September show date is September 19th at the Bucks County Horse Park (our usual show venue) and this year we will be trying to raise funds for Turning for Home Racehorse Retirement Project. You can find out more about this program from the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association on their web site. If you have any suggestions for improving the show or things you would like to see added, please let us know. We try to make improvements every time we do one of these. And, please, also remember we are essentially volunteers who put this on; our goal is to turn this into a successful non-profit providing show opportunities for newly rehomed thoroughbreds or thoroughbreds new to English riding, jumping, hunt seat equitation, or dressage. Your support is very welcome and we look forward to hearing from you.
The prize list is now up as are the updated rules and regulations! Thanks for your patience and we can’t wait to see you on September 13th! DON’T FORGET! If you are planning to do dressage, your entry must be postmarked by THIS SATURDAY, September 6th so we can get the schedule straight and give you a good approximate time for your test.
Hi Everyone! We are super excited to announce our next show on September 13, 2014 at the Bucks County Horse Park. If you are like us, you can’t wait for this weather to get back into training in a serious way. With the winter we had, we thought it best to give everyone a bit more time to prepare and if there is a new horse in your life, our show is “new horse” friendly! Hope to see you there!
Round 2 Thoroughbred Horse Shows is really excited to announce two shows this year. Our first show will be held June 1st at the Bucks County Horse Park.
We are working hard to get sponsors and are extremely pleased to announce that we have been accepted as part of the Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program. TIP will be sponsoring several classes at both shows and this means, too, that if you have a horse registered with TIP, you can get points for competing at our show.
- Only Thoroughbreds that have been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club are eligible to participate in T.I.P. classes and awards.
- NEW for 2013 – Riders and owners should obtain a T.I.P. number for all horse/rider combinations. T.I.P. number applications are done online at www.tjctip.com. T.I.P. numbers must be provided to the horse show. Hard copy forms will also be provided to shows.
- Reporting Results – NEW for 2013 Result reporting will be done online at www.tjctip.com
Check here for more information as it becomes available. If you would like to sponsor a division, class or ribbon to help out with running the show and keeping the cost affordable for everyone, please email us at email@example.com
Our second show will be September 21st also at the Bucks County Horse Park. Check back here for clinic information coming later in the year.
Thoroughbred ONLY: Proof of TB registration required.
