Class to be split if entries allow
Hello, this would be our first show with our TB, we live close to the BCHP and would love to try this show. Please tell me how much it is to enter each class even the ones that are not under the TIP pricing. Is there a division cost like, to include all 3 classes in a division? or are all classes paid for seperately.
Is there a charge to go to the show other than the cost of each class? and I realize there is a deadline most likely to have my registration in (with $$? and Coggins?) My daughter and I have never gone anywhere with our horse and would appreciate a reply to our emails .
Classes are $15.00 a piece, you do need a negative Coggins test from your vet within one year. If you have a tattooed TB, you can register free for T.I.P. registration (http://tjctip.com/). Pre-entries are due May 24th or you can register the day of the show for $18 a class. There are no other fees required. We are really excited you are interested and are going to show your TB!
Yay! Dressage classes! Hoping my guy heals in time to be able to join you. If we want to do hunters and dressage, how does that work? when I typically show dressage, we are given a time. Are you going to do a number order or pre register for dressage so there are assigned times? Thank you!
Hi Renee,
This is the first time we’ve done dressage but we are planning to have you pre-register for dressage and give you a time for your test (that’s what we’ve been advised to do by our dressage friends). So I think you would be good. I know Nancy wants the dressage people to pre-register so that ring runs the way it’s supposed to. You can also pre-register for the hunters if you want which helps us to know who is going to ride. I’ll also send your email to her for her to follow up with you.
Hello just wondering what the TIP $25 dollar championship is? Is that per division that it is offered in or for the entire day?
Hi Kristen,
We will clarify it with T.I.P. but I believe it’s for the division.
We are bring 3 OTTB’s to your September show. I’ve been trying to register them for their TIP numbers online, but keep getting a fatal error message. Perhaps website is down. Is there a way to register them that is not online? Once we have their Tip numbers we will pre-register for your show. And… if we pre-register and we choose to add more classes at the show, will we still receive the pre-registration price?
The boys are looking forward to a nice day at the park.
Sincerely,
Joy
Hi Joy,
I’ll send you a preliminary prize list which has the T.I.P. entry form in it that you can mail back to the Jockey Club or you can also call them from the web site and let them know your issue. I’m sure they can help over the phone; they did for me.
Hi, can you tell me what time the show starts (can’t seem to find the time)and if the classes are held in order as they appear on the list above?
The show will start at 8:00 AM for all three rings. The in-hand and English Pleasure classes are in the Jumper ring and start at 8:00 AM. There will be schooling in the Hunter ring until 7:45 AM.
Will a class schedule be available online soon? Trying to figure out if the Open Eq will go before or after lunch so I know how early to come for schooling. Thanks!
Hi Allison, I’ll get the ring schedule posted online soon. Check back by Monday and we should have it completely finalized and posted by then.
Wonderful, thank you!
Hi there! Is it safe to say that lunch break will be around noon and how long will it last for? Thanks so much and looking forward to participating!
That’s probably a safe bet Rebecca. I think it depends on how fast or slow the flow of the show is going as to how long it will last.
When are preregistrations due in by?
Hi Ashley, pre-registrations were due Saturday, September 14th but you can call Nancy and see if she can extend it.
Hi, Just wondering when the dressage times will be posted and where they will be posted 🙂 Thanks so much and I’m really looking forward to the show.
Alexa
When will dressage times be posted? And where will I be able to find them?
Looking forward to the show!
Hi Alexa, Nancy is working on the schedule and we should have it out by tonight.
any shows this year?
YEP! We are hosting a show at the Bucks County Horse Park on September 13th and it will have dressage, open classes, thoroughbred only classes, etc. just like our last show. Hope you can make it!
Hey, Dressage at Devon now has a Thoroughbred class in the breed show division. That is an in-hand class, judging only TBs as a dressage prospect. Of course there are open mounted classes too. Prize list http://dressageatdevon.org/cms2/pdf/DADPrizeList.pdf
i see that all classes are $15 if pre entered, how much are the dressage classes? and when is the closing date for the dressage classes?
Hi Melissa! They are $15 too but have to be pre-registered by September 6th. Hope to see you there!
looking forward to it!!
Hi finally go my act together and the TIP number today. As entries were due today(?) should i mail it in or just bring it next Saturday?
Just want to say thank you for hosting this all TB show! We really had a good time and I enjoyed seeing all the other TB’s participate in the various classes. I hope you continue to organize the show and if you need any volunteer help with the coordination, please let me know! If we all stay healthy we plan to show again next year. 🙂
